Privacy Policy

Last updated: this reflects the current, real behavior of the product — not a template.

What we collect

  • Account information from Clerk (your email and name) when you sign up.
  • Case data you create: case details, uploaded evidence files, and any text or claims extracted from them during analysis.
  • Basic usage records (which plan limits you're consuming — case count, storage, analysis runs, reports) so entitlements can be enforced.
  • If you use the Chrome extension: the URL, title, and visible text of a page, only at the moment you explicitly click "Capture Evidence" — nothing is captured automatically or in the background.

How your data is isolated

  • Every case, file, and analysis result is scoped to your organization at the database query level — there is no code path that returns another organization's data, and this is covered by automated tests.
  • API keys (used by the Chrome extension) are stored as a one-way hash, never in plaintext, and can be revoked at any time from Settings → Integrations.

Third parties we use to run the service

  • Clerk — authentication and account management.
  • An AI provider (Anthropic, Google, or Groq, depending on configuration) — processes the text of your uploaded evidence to extract claims and evidence during analysis.
  • Cloudflare R2 — file storage.
  • Paddle — billing and subscription management; Paddle handles payment details directly, we never see or store card numbers.
  • Vercel and Supabase — hosting and database infrastructure.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell your data.
  • We don't use your case content to train AI models beyond the single analysis request it was submitted for.
  • We don't share data across organizations, ever.

Your controls

  • You can delete uploaded files from within a case.
  • You can revoke API keys at any time.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from Billing; your data remains under your existing plan's terms until you request deletion.

Contact

  • For a data request or a privacy question, use the contact details on your Evidence Intelligence account's billing/organization settings.
